ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the needs that are available or implemented and expected in the Sustainable Food Garden Program (P2L) as a driver of program development. The research was carried out in Sambirembe Village, Kalijambe District, Sragen Regency, Central Java in November 2020 to June 2021. The research method used was quantitative with data collection techniques through questionnaires and data analysis using descriptive analysis and gap analysis mapped through Cartesian diagram. The selection of respondents was done with a saturated sample. The results showed that all indicators have high expectations. 22 development indicators achieved implementation in the high category, 2 in the medium category, and 1 in the low category. There are 5 alternative indicators that need to be improved and the priority indicator is the management of demonstration plots through pest control technology with yellow tie traps. Counseling on pest control with yellow tack traps with Lecture method, discussion, question and answer, demonstration of how to improve farmer behavior by 18% and implementation achievement by 97.7%.
