ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the cognitive, affective, conative responses of the Women Farmers Group in Nyatnyono Village, West Ungaran District, Semarang Regency in November 2020-July 2021. The research method used is descriptive with a quantitative approach. Data were taken through questionnaires and document analysis, data analysis was carried out descriptively. The selection of locations and populations in this study was carried out purposively, while the sampling of respondents used probability sampling technique, the number of samples per group was determined by proportional random sampling technique. The results of the study showed that the cognitive, affective, and conative responses of farmers were in the medium category with the percentages of achievement of 59.66%, 69.60%, and 66.33%, respectively. To increase the response of women's farmer groups in optimizing their yards, empowerment is needed. Empowerment is carried out by counseling the use of yard land to save family expenses. The results of the extension showed a change in the behavior of farmers from 57.78% to 91.78%. Keywords: Response, Women Farmers Group, Optimization of Yard Land
