Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the level of interest of farmers in the application of manure bokashi fertilizer. This study was conducted in Trimulyo Kalurahan, Jetis Kapanewon, Bantul Regency in November 2020 to July 2021. This study of increasing farmers' interest in the application of bokashi fertilizer using a quantitative descriptive method. The data used in this study are secondary data and primary data with data collection techniques through interviews with questionnaires and observations and documentation. Data were analyzed using analyzed deskriptve. The selection of villages, sub-districts, districts, and farmer groups was carried out purposively, while the sampling used the proportional random sampling technique. The results of the study showed that the level of interest of farmers in the application of bokashi fertilizer from the variables of interest and application was included in the moderate achievement with a percentage of 59.87%. The results of each variable are interest in moderate achievement with a percentage of 76.69% and the application variable is included in low achievement with a percentage of 43.06%. Therefore, there must be an effort to increase the interest of farmers in the application of bokashi manure in the form of counseling about farmers' knowledge of manure bokashi fertilizer.
