ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the level of cognitive response (knowledge), affective (interest), conative (willingness) of the Ngudi Makmur Women's Farmer Group (KWT) in optimizing yard land through the vegetable village program in Triwidadi Village, Pajangan District, Bantul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The implementation starts in November 2020 until June 2021. The method in this study is descriptive with a quantitative approach which is implemented using a Likert scale. The selection of District, Village, and Women Farmers Group was conducted by purposive sampling, while the sampling of respondents used saturated sampling. Collecting data using interviews and questionnaires and then analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results of the analysis show that the response level of the cognitive component (knowledge) is in the medium category with a percentage of 61.2%, the affective component (interest) is in the high category with a percentage of 78.4%, and the conative component (willingness) is in the medium category with a percentage of 62.2. %. Thus, to increase the response of women farmer groups in optimizing their yards through the vegetable village program, empowerment is needed. One of the empowerments that can be done is regarding the seeding of vegetable plants in the context of nursery management as an effort to increase the optimization of yard land. The evaluation results showed an increase in knowledge of 27%, an increase in attitude of 30.27%, and an increase in skills of 28.25%. Keywords: Response, Women Farmer Group, Optimization of Yard
