ABSTRACK This study aims to find out the perception of farmers socially, technically, economically in the application of balanced fertilization in onion plants. The study was conducted in November 2020 to June 2021 in Kalurahan Srigading, Kapanewon Sanden, Bantul Regency. This method of study used descriptive analysis. The location determination technique is done with Purposive. The sampling technique was obtained proportional random sampling with 30 respondents. Data retrieval methods use questionnaires, interviews, and document analysis (secondary data). The results of the study showed the perception of farmers in the application of balanced fertilization in onion plants on average was in the moderate category with a score of 75.49%, the perception of farmers economically included in the moderate category with a score of 76.22%, the perception component technically belonged to the high category with a score of 78.44%, the social perception component belonged to the moderate category with a score of 76.00%, The implementation component of balanced fertilization falls into the low category with a score achievement of 71.33%.
