ABSTRACK This study aims to determine the physiological, sociological, and self-actualization motivation of farmers in the utilization of animal manure into organic compost at Kalirejo Village, East Ungaran District, Semarang Regency. The study was conducted from November 2020 to June 2021 at Kalirejo Village, East Ungaran District, Semarang Regency. The methods of collecting data used are questionnaires, interviews, and document analysis (secondary data). The scale used in the questionnaire is a Likert scale and sample collection techniques using a proportional random sampling of 30 respondents. The results of the study show that the physiological motivation of farmers is in a low category, the sociological motivation of farmers is in the medium category, and self-actualization motivation is in a low category. This means that the motivation of farmers at Kalirejo Village needs to be increased to encourage the enthusiasm of farmers in utilizing goat manure into organic compost.
