ABSTRACT This study aims to find out the right way to develop business in Keboen Hijau Jambidan through the results of comparing the application of innovation technology for cultivation of green deli honey guava with superior comparison locations, designing a business model canvas to determine market opportunities for green deli honey guava, and designing the right model of community empowerment so that the surrounding community is involved in business development in Keboen Hijau Jambidan. This study was conducted from November 2020 to July 2021 at Keboen Hijau Jambidan, Kapanewon Banguntapan, Bantul Regency. The determination of the study area and location was carried out purposively, while the informants were determined using the snowball technique. Data collection techniques using data triangulation and then analyzed using benchmarking analysis. The results of the analysis show that Keboen Hijau Jambidan has weaknesses in the cultivation process, namely preparation of planting media, application of plant spacing, and pest and disease control. In addition, it does not yet have a fixed market, and has not established cooperation. Furthermore, FGDs were conducted to solve the above problems and empower the community by involving the community to cooperate in developing businesses in Keboen Hijau Jambidan. After holding a joint counseling with the target, the follow-up plan to be carried out in order to support business development in Keboen Hijau Jambidan is to adopt the results of benchmarking carried out by researchers and invite the surrounding community to cooperate in meeting the market demand for seeds and fruit products in Keboen Hijau Jambidan.
