ABSTRACT This research aimed to determine the differences between the preferences of prospective producers and consumers of several processed guava products, namely jam and sweet at the Jelita Women Farmers Group in the Jogotirto Village, Berbah District, Sleman Regency from December 2020 to June 2021. This study was a quantitative descriptive. The sampling location and sampling method on prospective product used the purposive sampling and total sampling, respectively, while for potential consumers by convenience sampling on Lava Bantal tourists with the number of each respondent being 24 people. The data obtained include primary and secondary data and then analyzed using descriptive and t-test. The results of the study indicated that there was no difference between the preferences of prospective producers and consumers towards jam product. Meanwhile, for confectionery products, it is known that there were differences in preferences for these products. Based on the statistical test with t test on jam products and confectionery products, it can be concluded that Ho was accepted and Ha was rejected, which means that there was no significant difference between preferences of prospective producers and consumers on water dalhari guava jam products and candied guava products. Based on the results of the study, the empowerment was carried out by conducting counseling on the processing of dalhari guava jam, which aimed to increase the knowledge, attitudes, and skills of members of the women's farmer group towards the processing of the dalhari water guava jam.
