Abstract This study aims to determine the condition of age factors, education level, land area and availability of facilities and interests of farmers in the use of chicken manure compost fertilizer. As well as knowing the influence of these factors on farmers' interest in the use of chicken manure compost fertilizer on leaf vegetable crops, which was implemented from December 2020 to June 2021 in balunijuk village, Merawang district, Bangka Regency. The study sample was taken with Propotional Random Sampling as many as 30 people. The data was obtained through interviews and questionnaires which were then analyzed using multiple linear regressions. The results of the partial analysis showed that age factors had a significant effect on farmers' interest in the use of chicken manure compost fertilizer. Furthermore, simultaneously, the age factor (X1), education level (X2), land area (X3), and availability of facilities (X4) have no significant effect on farmers' interest in the use of chicken manure compost fertilizer. The results of the study were taken into consideration of empowerment design and counseling was conducted on June 14, 2021 with the evaluation results showing an improvement in knowledge aspects 48, 81%, attitude aspects 23, 5%, and skill aspects 4%.
