ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the response of cognitive aspects, affective aspects, conative aspects farmers on the innovation of liquid organic fertilizer from banana stem waste on shallot (Allium cepa L.) in Parangtritis Village, Kretek District, Bantul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The study was carried out in November 2020 to July 2021. The study uses a quantitative descriptive method. Sampling technique using proportional random sampling. Data collection techniques using observation, documentation, interviews, and questionnaires. The data from the study are presented descriptively. The results of the study show that the response of farmers to the innovation of waste liquid organic fertilizer banana stems on shallot (Allium cepa L.) are included in the high category with a percentage of 80.20%. The results for the response of each aspect, namely the Cognitive (knowledge) of 67.28% is included in the medium category, the response to the affective aspect (attitude) of 91.11% is included in the high category, and the response to the conative aspect (willingness) of 82.22 is included in the high category.
