Abstract This study aims to determine the level of motivation of women farmer groups in using vegetable gardens through the vegetable alley program. This study was carried out in the Rejowinangun Village, Kotagede District, Yogyakarta City in November 2020 – July 2021. The study of the motivation of members of this women's farmer group used a quantitative descriptive method. The data used in this study are secondary data and primary data with data collection techniques through interviews, questionnaires and observations as well as documentation which were analyzed using a Likert scale. The selection of sub-districts, sub-districts and women farmer groups was carried out purposively, while sampling was done using saturated sampling. The results of the study indicate that the level of motivation of members of the women's farmer group in the use of yard land through the vegetable alley program is included in the low level of achievement with a percentage of 51.01%. The results of the level of motivation from each variable, namely the level of physiological motivation is in the low level of achievement with a percentage of 46.88%, the level of sociological motivation is in the medium level of achievement with a percentage of 57.5% and the level of self-actualization motivation is included in the low level of achievement with a percentage 48.66%.
