ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the internal strategic factors (IFAS) and external strategic factors (EFAS) and to formulate appropriate alternative strategies in the development of the shallot (Allium ascalinicum L) processing business into fried shallots in the Women Farmers Group (KWT) Langen Sari, Kalurahan. Murtigading, Kapanewon Sanden, Bantul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The study was conducted from November 2020 to July 2021. The method used in this study is a qualitative method so that the sample in the study is referred to as informants or resource persons. Data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The results of the study show that internal strategic factors are strengths, namely training is often held within the internal and external scope, while internal strategic factors that become weaknesses are the absence of a research and development division and the absence of written SOPs. External strategic factors that become opportunities are increasing online shopping habits during the COVID-19 pandemic and external strategic factors that pose a threat, namely consumers are not familiar with KWT Langen Sari products in detail. The alternative strategy that can be done from the results of this study is to conduct online marketing training through Instagram social media.
