ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the motivation for existence (Existence Needs), motivation for affiliation (Relatedness Needs), motivation for growth (Growth Needs) farmers in growth UPJA (Agricultural Equipment and Machinery Service Business) which was carried out in Sidokumpul Village, Guntur Sub District, Demak Regency from November 2020 to July 2021. The method used was a descriptive method with a quantitative approach with a sample of 30 people determined by proportional random sampling. The data were obtained through observation, interviews, and questionnaires, then analyzed descriptively using a Likert scale and based on values grouped into three categories, namely low, medium and high. The results of the study showed that the motivation for existence (Existence Needs) was included in the medium category with a percentage of 64.89%, the motivation for affiliation (Relatedness Needs) was in the medium category with a percentage of 75.22%, and the motivation for growth (Growth Needs) was in the medium category with a percentage of 68.56%. Furthermore, based on the results of the study, an empowerment design was prepared and counseling was carried out on the management of Human Resources (HR) UPJA to 15 people, with the evaluation results showed an increase in the knowledge aspect by 36.89% and an increase in the attitude aspect by 35 % .
