ABSTRACK This study aims to determine the role of farmer groups in integrated rat pest control. The study was carried out from March to July 2019 in Margokaton Village, Seyegan Subdistrict, Sleman Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The research method used is descriptive method, and the research was conducted using survey techniques. The sampling method used was purposive sampling technique, and the respondents were determined using proportional random sampling technique. Data collection techniques through direct interviews using a questionnaire, and observation. The measurement scale used is the Likert scale, and the data analysis uses descriptive statistics. The results of the study show that the role of farmer groups in controlling rat pests is integrated with the achievement of a percentage of 54.5% in the order of the percentage of the learning class having a total value of 61.11% including the medium category, 58.3% cooperation vehicles including the medium category and 44.2% production units. belongs to the low category. The empowerment design in this study is to increase the role of the tan group in controlling rat pests with TBS (Trap barrier System) and LTBS (Linear Trap barrier System). Furthermore, counseling was carried out on rat pest control with TBS (Trap barrier System) and LTBS (Linear Trap barrier System).
