Abstract This study aims to determine the application of nursery technology and innovation, market potential and opportunities, and to design a model for the empowerment of avocado seedlings in the 'Berkah Jaya' avocado farmer association. This study was carried out at the 'Berkah Jaya' avocado farmer association, Jetis Village, Bandungan District, Semarang Regency from November 2020 to July 2021 and is a descriptive study with a case study method. Locations and informants were determined by themethod Snowball sampling, the informants consisted of key informants and supporters. Data obtained through interviews, participatory observation, documentation, and focus group discussions then analyzed by going through the stages of data reduction, business feasibility analysis, andanalysis Benchmarking. The results of the study show that the overall application of technology and innovation in the 'Berkah Jaya' avocado farmer association is good, but there are technologies and innovations that have not been thoroughly implemented, including the kohe used that has not gone through the fermentation process, and the use of shade. The potential possessed by the 'Berkah Jaya' avocado farmer association breeder and can be developed is the existence of a certified mother tree, while the available opportunities include the variety of avocado seeds that can be offered to consumers, promotions that can be carried out to attract consumer interest, and expanding partnerships with other parties. other.
