ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the response of farmers to the results of the demonstration plot of balanced fertilization in Jingglong Village, Ponorogo District, Ponorogo Regency which was carried out by PT. Petrokimia Gresik cooperates with the BPP of Ponorogo District. This study was conducted in December 2020 – June 2021. The level of response that is of particular concern in this study is the affective response of farmers. The sample used was 15 respondents who were taken by purposive sampling. Data obtained by means of interviews and questionnaires. Then analyzed with descriptive data analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that the level of affective response of farmers is still classified as doubtful about the results of the demonstration plot of balanced fertilization. The design of empowerment in this study aims to improve the application of balanced fertilization on rice plants in accordance with the recommendations for plot demonstrations that have been implemented.
