ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the function of the Women Farmers Group (KWT) Bersemi in developing a nursery to support the Sustainable Food House Area (KRPL) program in Joho Village, Prambanan District, Klaten Regency. The study was carried out from November 2020 to June 2021 with the determination of villages and women farmer groups carried out purposively, while the determination of respondents used a saturated sampling technique. Data collection techniques using interviews and questionnaires. The measurement scale used is a Likert scale, with descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The results of the study showed that the function of the Bersemi Women Farmers Group in the development of the nursery in terms of the function of the learning class got a score of 218 (72.67%) included in the Medium category, the function of the cooperative vehicle got a score of 272 (75.56%) included in the Medium category, and the function of the production unit got a score of 222 (61.67%) included in the Medium category. While the average level of achievement of the function of the Bersemi Women Farmers Group in Joho Village got a score of 712 (69.97%) which was included in the Medium category. So that the function of the Bersemi Women Farmers Group in the development of seed houses in Joho Village is included in the Medium category with an achievement score of 712 (69.97%) in the development of seed houses. The implementation of counseling is carried out to determine the knowledge and attitudes of the respondents on the lowest study results that have been obtained. The design of empowerment includes the technical sector is the importance of working with others; The social sector is improving the work of the farm group and increasing the participation of farmers in the women's group; and the economic sector is investment together in farmers women group. The results indicate increased knowledge by 63.70% and attitude by 25,56%. Keywords : Function, Farmers Women Group, Seed House
