ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the analysis of vegetables seeds farming, seeds management and seed house optimization strategies in order to support Lumbung Mataraman Program which has been implemented by the Mekar Jaya Women Farmers Group. The study was carried out from November 2020 to July 2021 in the Sumberarum Village, Moyudan, Sleman Regency. This research is a descriptive study which collecting data through 30 women farmers as respondents. Those are selected based on the Purposive Sampling technique and Saturated Sample. The data was obtained by interview and being analyzed descriptively. The results of the study show that farming is carried out on a land area of 100 m2 with a period of one year with three times of production, the R/C Ratio value of 1,19 and a profit of Rp 395.333/year. The management of the seeds house has not been managed properly, this is due to problems with several components, namely the sub-variables of planting planning, organizing and evaluating and monitoring. The seeds house optimization strategy is carried out by analyzing the potential and problem data contained in the activities of the Lumbung Mataraman Program, especially the management of the seeds house which will then be tabulated in a table of potentials and problems. Three strategies for optimizing the seeds house to support Lumbung Mataraman Program are training in seeding vegetables, training in group management, and making schedule for group evaluations.
